One of my golf buddies, "a young" John Jackson (age 85), is getting ready to tee off on hole number one. I and my other "young golfing" buddy (age 87), were waiting for John. These two men witnessed my hole-in one on this hole. They are good Christian gentlemen and very good golfers for their age.

This trophy and certificate were given to me in recognition of this unusual accomplishment. I was surprised at how few golfer's have achieve this feat. The great Bobby Jones, for example, never got a hole-in-one in all the years that he played. It "only took me 50 plus years" and a lot of luck to get one. Grandpa Carr

We three have enjoyed watching all of you growing up and becoming such a wonderful posterity. We couldn't ask for anything better than being able to watch you all marry, have our exception grandchildren and do such a wonderful job of teaching, training and being such a good example to them of humble service oriented members of the Church. Much love to you all, and enjoy remembering.

This is seven year old Loingerus Leparmarai. He lives in Kenya, Africa. He wants to grow up to be a doctor some day. He joins three other children that I sponsor each month. What a wonderful program the International Christian Children's Fund operates to help poor children get an education, get better health, etc. I help a little boy (D.J.) in the Philippines, a young teenage girl (Renata) in Brazil and a young girl (Sita) in India. We correspond with each other. They send me letters and pictures, telling me what they are learning and doing. I really enjoy helping these young children of Heavenly Father.

These two wonderful people were your grandmother's parents, Charley and Hilda White.

Grandma White died when she was 63 years old from a on going heart condition. A few years later grandpa married Ruby. Grandma Ruby and Charley lived in Yakima, Washington for over 25 years. Grandpa died at about 85 years and Ruby at about 91 in Yakima, Washington.

This beautiful old 1929 Dodge is like the one I purchased from my auto shop teacher in my junior or senior year of high school, however mine was not so fancy, but it was quite the car.. My model had wooden spoke wheels and was brown. It was a strong as a tank. I used it to delivered newspaper. Uncle Lloyd and I used it to take young ladies on dates. I didn't have any trouble finding young ladies to go with me to help fold my papers and help me deliver them. It was a fun old car. Grandpa Carr
